How to Make
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and place oven rack in the top 1/3 of the oven.
Grease 8 inch square baking dish.
In a bowl, mix the oats, seeds or walnuts, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together maple sugar (if using), milk, egg oil or butter and vanilla.
Arrange the banannas in a layer on the bottom of the dish. Sprinkly two-thirds of the berries over the top. Cover the fruit with the oat mixture. Slowly add the milk mixture over the oats. Tap the top to make sure the ingredients all mix throughout. Add the rest of the berries to the top.
Bake 45 min- 1 hour until the oats are done and there is a nice golden crust on top.
2 Cups Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Walnuts, Flax Seed or Chia Seeds
1/3 Cup Sugar or Maple Syrup
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Cups Milk or Milk Alternative
1 Large Egg
3 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Bananas -cut into 1/2 inch pieces (subsitute chopped apples, peaches or other fruit)
1 1/2 Cups Berries- fresh or frozen
